A Life

-MARCH with a new beginning-

After have a long break, indeed a long retirement break (aka pre-retirement life)
It's time to restart my engine , start to walk along the journey , leading to the way I supposed to be..

Been through phone interview, as expected.
Decided to start everything all over again.
Life isn't fair, believe in give and take.
Oh well.. Sacrificed : leaving the peoples I love the most in this beautiful city, a beautiful country where I belong to.
(PS: Not too late to start a brand new life at this age, right? i doubt..)

Still the same Sunshine :)
Independence, something that this lady here have to learn.
Direction sense is always her weakness wherever she goes.
Anyplace , she knows her destination well and clear, just somehow sometime she has no idea HOW and WHICH road to take. (This is the worse thing)
Often stuck in the middle of the journey but her fears , she can overcome. Just need a little more courage to made up her mind , take a leap of faith . (one step closer, else further ; who knows?)

In a NEW City, NEW people, NEW company, NEW environment, how much she can takes?
They wonder..
Its still unknown. But one thing she made up her mind, no matter how tough this road gonna be , she has to take it.
Because is her choice..
Welcome YC!
Learning.. Always a progress to retrieve herself to be a better person.
Someone who will make her proud , is always herself.
"Be the type of person you want to meet!"
Step-by-step..Fearless of Failure will make a better person.
She will never walk alone.
(Blessed by GOD, And angels are always besides her.. you know who you are.)

Back to the reality..
Here is some thing would like to share with you guys.
1. What's the thing you need the most in Singapore?
Ez-link card : to travel around , please reload at all MRT Station else 7-11.

✓   Hi! Card : Singtel sim card in Singapore . The rate is really LOW in buying daily data (SGD1=1Day with 1GB)

✓  SG-MRT (please dl this in your smart phone) : This apps is very useful in term of direction and calculation of time consume from A to B.
There are 4 main lines in total so need to be aware of which is the inter-change station.

2. What's the culture?
Mostly are Chinese (Singaporean) here. No offence well I'm not a racist person either.
Malays here are much more modern compared to Malaysian , they do dress up fashionably and barely hard can see tudung lady on the street .
OL here like to wear flat instead of heels (all is about walking in this country, this is why less fatty you can see at SG ) *tsk*
Leisure time especially evening , you can see a lot joggers on the street (not jokers ok!) Heard that they have a IPPT (Individual Physical Proficiency Test) in National Services even after they completed the training.
✓  No surprise if you see army on the street. Its compulsory for the teenagers guys to have a 2 years army training in SG. They were trained to be fit, matured and efficient. (No way we can compare NS in Malaysia. you know what i mean..) *wink*
✓  The way Singaporean hang their cloth -- in a awesome traditional way! with Bamboo stick!
Hang cloth in a SG way
3. SG Living cost.
Living cost here isn't really that high if you're not a high maintenance people.
I'm simple, I lead a simple ordinary life style. Shopping yes but I'm not high-end .
Let's see..
Rental is the only thing that cost a bomb if you're not staying with family here.
Be a tenant, you need budget around $900 for a good room with fully furnished (air-cond,wifi,utility, kitchen, water heater, washing machine, facilities etc)
I got myself a big room with a reasonable rental, minimum u can get for a single room with only basic facilities (fan, bed etc) , definitely you need SGD 500 .
my messy room with a Queen size bed, spacious enough
Food here are mostly hawker stall at food court that offer a cheap price. (around SGD4-SGD5)
3 vege rice = SGD 3.50
If you heading to cafe especially nice Korean Japan and special cuisine , you would need more then SGD30 for sure.
Transportation not costly, from a station to another station max it can goes is only SGD3. And all the places here mostly are reachable by MRT. (walking distance)

4. Foreigners
You will be seeing there are lotsa foreigners working here. (Included me) :)
The main reason is due to the SGD Currency no doubt but the main thing each employee looking at is the career opportunity , career development.
(PS: Less politic, more improvement)

Well let's see how things goes..
Learning to live alone in this busy city.
"Doesn't mean I'm lonely when I'm alone"
Things are always challenging at the beginning.
Depends on how we see it, how we take it.
There will always be a rainbow after the rain. *hope*
SG Raining season
*Starring at the opposite RED Light, believe there will always be a signal from God.
Guiding me to the right way. Blessed! *
